72 NEWS APRIL 2019 We are satisfied with visitors and exhibitor companies I wasn’t expecting such an interest from Turkey Can Kantar, Marketing Director, ABP: As ABP, we regularly attend IDMA Exhibition. This year, our expectations are already fulfilled. Today is Friday, tomorrow is Saturday. We hope more visitors will come. We are trying to catch up as much as we can. In gene- ral, we are pleased with participation both about the millers or inspection companies. Since we are addressing the Turkish market, we had many visitors from Turkey who we invited to the exhibition. We had visitors from Russia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, France, and Germany. As ABP, we have been trying to bring innovations in this sector for the last 35 years. At the beginning of this year, we introduced to the market a device that farmers and grain traders can use when measuring the amount of the protein in 5 seconds in laboratory accuracy. Our product’s weight is under one kilogram, it works with 6 alkaline batteries. Servet Kösereisoğlu, STATEC BINDER: Because this is a specialty exhibition, it is visited by mostly related people and companies. They were extremely cons- cious people. We are pleased with the exhibitors and visitors. We had visitors from Colombia, the USA, Nigeria and from many countries. We even had visitors from China and all of them were very serious about our machines. At the end of this, of course, we will send offers to 8-10 companies. I personally did not expect so much attention. I did not expect so much demand, especially from Turkey. Our machinery is larger than needed for some companies in Turkey. But there was more demand from abroad. Various companies were really interested. That made us more than happy. IDMA 2019
