Future Focused AGI Delivers New Tech Offering at Agritechnica The 2019 Agritechnica trade show in Hanover, Germany brings 2700 exhibitors from more than 51 countries together for the leading agriculture machinery show in Europe. From November 10-16, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition grounds that holds exhibitors in over 20 halls. Agritechnica divides exhibitor space to easily locate the booths that are most applicable to visitors’ needs; how- ever, when a company like AGI can easily exhibit and pro- vide solutions for several themed halls including Mineral Fertilizer, Feed Mixers, Agriculture Software and Precision Farming Technology, it can be hard to know where to start. This year AGI is located in Hall 6 – Harvest Condition- ing, Conveying, Preservation and Storage – an obvious choice for most who know AGI as a grain storage man- agement company that started in 1996. But since then the company has continued to grow in size and scope through acquisitions of widely respected internation- al brands like Hi Roller, Westeel, FRAME, PTM, MFS, CMC, Airlanco and Hutchinson. AGI has grown from its foundation in grain storage solu- tions. It now operates across five platforms: grain, seed, feed, food and fertilizer. The company delivers products, services and solutions for farm and commercial through seven business components: Storage, Structures, Handling, Process, Controls, Engineering and Project Management. AGI is known for its equipment specific for farm or com- mercial grain storage, but if Mineral Fertilizer or Feed Mix- ers is bringing you to the conference this year, you should visit the AGI booth and learn more about their fertilizer and feed brands VIS, Yargus, and Junge Control. AGI has grown an extensive network of dealers around the world and operates manufacturing facil- ities in North America, Brazil, India and Europe. Its start from a Canadian farm company now has them delivering commercial solutions for inland and port facilities around the world including Ukraine, Russia, Ecuador, Indonesia, and Turkey. For instance, AGI provided belt conveyors, chain conveyors and bucket el- evators and Westeel bins for the Mariupol Trade Port in Ukraine, and there are current projects with Risoil where AGI has provided Hi Roller conveyors, and FRAME bins. For other clients like ADM, Bunge, Cargill, and COFCO, AGI is a trusted partner for commercial agriculture solutions. With AGI’s commitment to innovation and technology, their booth is sure to showcase its exciting recent endeav- ors in the agriculture software sector. In March, AGI ac- quired Intellifarms, a provider of hardware and software solutions that benefit grain growers, processors, and other participants in the agriculture market. Their BinManager is a leading grain storage management solution using ad- vanced sensors, cables and controls to maintain stored grain in ideal conditions. In July, AGI invested in FARMO- BILE, an independent technology company that provides hardware and software services for real-time collection, organization, analysis and storage of farm data. 2019 brought exciting growth and expansion for AGI with their acquisition of Milltec Machinery Limited, a market leading manufacturer of rice milling and processing equip- ment, based in Bangalore, India. Milltec adds a complete rice processing product line that will provide a greater ac- cess to AGI’s growing presence in Asia. Whether it is fertilizer, feed, technology, rice processing or grain management that brings you to Agri- technica this year, you will want to visit AGI’s booth E10 in Hall 6 to learn more about their history, products and solutions for both farm and commercial agriculture applications.
