The Evolution of Premium Feeds Corporation Premium Feeds Corporation is a dynamic Phil- ippines based company producing livestock feed for hogs and various poultry species. For almost 40 years, Premium Feeds has been helping Filipino farmers achieve success in business by providing themwith high-quality products and services at the most affordable cost. In 2009, Premium Feeds recognized the need to expand its grain storage facilities and decided to partner with AGI and Ms. Lynnette Rosete. Ros- ete, owner of Renros Industries Agri Corporation is a highly successful and valued agent of AGI in the Philippines for grain storage management. Ms. Lynnette Rosete, played a vital role in planning the expansion consisting of five AGI silos to facilitate more storage for Premium Feeds as demand for their animal feeds continued to increase. By 2010, the silos were successfully installed, and the expan- sion became fully operational. In a conversation withMr. Jerry Uy, President and CEO of Premium Feeds, “the installation of new storage facilities improved our sourcing capabilities enabling the company to purchase and store more materials providing leverage in forecasting our re- quirements and contributed to improving efficiency in production.” Each AGI silo has a capacity to store 2,500 metric tons of rawmaterials providing a total of 12,500 metric tons of additional storage. Quality is a major factor in the storage process and AGI silos are equipped with temperature and moisture-monitoring features, extending the shelf life of materials so the feeds produced are of the highest standard possible, supporting Premium Feeds’ commitment to provide quality feeds for their valued customers. Together with Renros and AGI, a systemmanaging the temperature, moisture and general handling of materials were further de- veloped to achieve consistent quality results. Premium Feeds continue to support its growth objectives purchasing more AGI silos in 2018 through 2019. Its latest order included 6 units – 2,000 metric-ton silos seeing the expansion com- pleted in December 2019 making it the biggest sin- gle-site feed plant operation in the country. With Premium Feeds’ growth mindset, the key to developing sustainability is in nurturing genuine relationships with all its stakeholders.
