48 NEWS MILLER / MAY 2020 VICTAM and Animal Health and Nutrition Asia, which was planned for 9 – 11 July 2020 in Bangkok, was postponed to 18-20 January 2022 due to the continued outbreak of the Coronavirus. VICTAM and Animal Health and Nutrition Asia postponed to January 2022 The Coronavirus outbreak continues to affect the mil- ling and feed industry along with other business branches. In this context, the organizers of VICTAM and Animal He- alth and Nutrition Asia, which was planned for 9-11 July 2020 in Bangkok, announced that they decided to post- pone the organization to 18-20 January 2022. They sent an e-mail to all exhibitors and said that beca- use attending the exhibition is not their clients’ priority as of now, they thought that postponing the event to a safer date would be the best solution for giving the stakehol- ders room to breathe and focus on other vital aspects. The announcement also underlined that the participation agreements of the event would remain effective. The announcement bearing the signatures of the top managers of both VICTAM Corporation and VNU Asia Pacific, co-organizers of the prominent exhibition, inclu- des the following messages: “With this e-mail, we officially inform you that the event VICTAM and Animal Health and Nutrition Asia, which was planned for 9-11 July 2020 in Bangkok, has been postponed to 18-20 January 2022 due to the con- tinued outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). CO- VID-19 is still disrupting businesses around the world and we have concluded that being present at the exhibition is, at the moment, not our client’s priority. The main reason to choose January 2022, instead of the second half of this year, is the full event calendar, which could create a conf- lict of dates for our visitors and exhibitors. Postponing the event to January 2022 will give all stakeholders room to breathe and pay attention to other vital issues…We belie- ve it is the right decision for the market and we will come back stronger together in 2022.” The Victam Corporation and VIV worldwide will also continue their partnership in Europe in 2022 by organi- zing VICTAM International and VIV Europe together at the Jaarbeurs exhibition grounds in Utrecht, the Nether- lands, from May 31 – June 2, 2022. The set-up of this exhibition is different from the Asia event, as VIV Euro- pe and VICTAM International will be co-located but with each exhibition in their own halls.
