59 COVER STORY MILLER / November 2020 Figure 6: A stack fumigation with 20 measuring points and a measuring frequency of 2 hours, re- veals large differences between areas and specific drops following the day-night temperature flu- ctuation. Another unexpected part of this graph is around March 28th (day 2 of the fumigation), when in the same stack, at the same moment, there are readings of 4,000 ppm and 200 ppm! Figure 7: The Internet-of-Crops® platform monitors fumigations and issues a prediction for each treatment (orange area) ahead of time. When the real readings get uploaded by wireless sensors, they are displayed as curves against the model (blue and red in this case).
