G3 Vermilion, Alberta and G3 Swift Current, Saskatchewan are in full operation. Both facilities can unload a Super-B truck in less than 5 min- utes, saving customers’ time and money. Both new elevators have 42,000 tonnes capacity and railway loop tracks that al- low for fast and efficient loading of 150-car unit trains, keeping grain moving quickly to market and increasing delivery oppor- tunities for our farmer customers. “We’re pleased to be part of these great agricultural com- munities and look forward to earning the business of farmers who see the value in fast, efficient service,” says G3 CEO Don Chapman. “And we’re happy to welcome the new facilities’ dedicated and skilled staff to the G3 team across Canada.” Both new elevators offer convenient road access to area producers and are well-positioned to ship grain by rail quickly to G3 Terminal Vancouver, state-of-the-art grain export terminal on the West Coast with access to markets around the world. G3 opens two new high efficiency grain elevators on the Prairies As COVID-19 restrictions ease, Vortex Asia-Pacific, a solids and bulk handling components company, announces it has reopened a physical office location in Shanghai, China. The new location is in the heart of downtown Shanghai and will serve Vortex’s customers in China and a variety of countries on the Asian continent. “We are extremely pleased that we can start to move on from the past 18 months and that our Asia-Pacific customers are getting all the support they need from our new Shanghai office and Tony Zhang,” said Laurence Millington, managing director at VortexGlobal. Vortex Asia-Pacific was established in 2009. Now in its 12th year, the Asia-Pacific office is responsible for the corporation’s many business activities occurring throughout China, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, and Taiwan. In addition to the Shang- hai office, Vortex’s American headquarters is located in Salina, Kansas and the company staffs additional international offices in Darlington, United Kingdom and Querétaro City, Mexico. “Vortex has been established in China for over a de- cade and is excited about our continued partnership with dry bulk processors across the country.
